The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York has once again taken their rightful place in America as one the nation’s top Fall Festival destinations with the 2011 Great Pumpkin Farm Fall Festival (goes through October 31st). All Pro Eating Promotions’ Director of Operations Dave “Coondog” O’Karma said, “There is so much to do at The Great Pumpkin Farm and so much fun to had by everyone between the ages of 1 and 100 that The Great Pumpkin Farm should probably be referred to as ‘The Greatest Pumpkin Farm’!” The Great Pumpkin Farm World Hands-Free Pumpkin Pie Eating Championship is quickly becoming a battlefield for some of the best Food Warriors to prove their Pumpkin Pie prowess. Chris “The Mad Greek” Abatsas is planning to return to defend both his 2010 World Hands-Free Pumpkin Pie Eating Champion Title and current World Hands-Free Pumpkin Pie Eating Record, Jammin’ Joe LaRue is looking to avenge his loss to The Mad Greek in last year’s contest and claim the 2011 title and also establish a new World Record, Eric “Silo” Dahl who is the Nation’s Top Ranked Collegiate Competitive Eating plans to demolish the World Record and hold the 1st Trophy high above his head and “Gentleman” Joe Menchetti who is fresh off his recent win at the National Apple Pie Eating Championship where he established a new National Apple Pie Eating Record will make his first appearance at the World Hands-Free Pumpkin Pie Eating Championship and is expected to make his presence known!

Chris Abatsas Wins World Pie-Eating Championship!
Sets New Hands-Free World Record!
Chris “The Mad Greek” Abatsas ate an astonishing 25 pieces of Pumpkin Pie in just 8 minutes, during the World Pumpkin Pie-Eating Championship, held on Sunday, October 24th at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, NY.
In doing so, Abatsas defeated 11 other professional and amateur competitors, and according to All Pro Eating co-founder Dave “Coondog” O’Karma, set a new world hands-free pumpkin pie eating record.
The 2010 winner, who lives in Cleveland, Ohio, takes home a cash prize of $750.00.
