OUR MISSION:  The Great Pumpkin Farm is WNY's Largest Fall Festival and is our pleasure to bring this to the community and families each year.  It is our way of celebrating the harvest of blessings we enjoy in our community and our nation.  It has grown to be the largest family event in the region.  We believe that's because it's based on the root values we share in the cultures that make up this remarkable community.  Family Values!

HISTORY: The Great Pumpkin Farm has been growing since 1996. The farm started out with hosting the World Pumpkin Confederation Weigh-Off at which time it made the Guinness Book of World Records with the 1st 1,000lb pumpkin. Since that time we have added several events including the New York State Official BBQ Cookoff "OINKtoberfest". The BBQ has grown from 10 competing teams to 80 teams that come from all over the US and Canada. This year is our 6th annual Trebuchet competition that includes area high school technology departments to compete by building life size catapults and shoot for prizes and awards.  We are also continuing with the Pumpkin Farm Olympics on our 3rd weekend that will include 3 days of events all ages along with the Annual Pumpkin Drop on Columbus Day.  In 2010 we added a new event on our 5th weekend - The World Pumpkin Pie Eating Competition!  Every year we strive to add and change to provide the community with a fun wholesome place to celebrate the fall. All this is possible with the help from our sponsors that provide us with additional support to promote this festival.
